A hand-constructed, shaped mirror of an elongated and tapered heptagonal form. The frame is thick and sloped and is covered in a pink-on-pink porphyry-inspired, hand-painted paper with gold metallic accents. The mirror itsef is vintage. The back of the mirror has been outfitted with a D-ring for hanging.

Thomas Engelhart (American, 1972–) is an artist living and working in New York City. His boxes and objects are explorations of color, pattern and form. The papers are hand painted in studio before being applied to the hand constructed boxes. Each piece is truly unique.
