George III Painted Serpentine Bench
Circa 1800
Of generous scale and with both front and back of serpentine form so bench can float nicely in a room if needed; the seat newly upholstered in Baker's Ferns over a channeled seat rail and cabriole legs ending in pad form feet. The wood frame painted a greige over a black ground showing through.
