Janie Kruse Garnett

Lamartine Candle

Twilight falls on a summer beach house in New England. Children happily run through the garden, stealing flowers for an impromptu make-believe wedding. Fireflies begin to dot the air. The pathway to the sea is lined with unbridled honeysuckle and overblown bramble rose.

Notes: Heady summer florals, lily of the valley, and warm woods over a base of soft musk.

Bespoke Michiko Shimada for JKG ceramic container with croquet-inspired stripe. Handmade in Brooklyn. Reusable.

All candles are made and poured to order, please allow one week’s production time.

Please ensure that the entire top of the candle has melted during the first lighting, as this prevents tunneling. Trimming the wick before each use promotes clean burning.
