A hand-constructed medium rectangular mirror with a sloped frame. There are three decorative flourishes to the top of the mirror, two sprouting from the top corners and a tiered in the middle. There are four holes on the two sides of the mirror and one on each flourish which are outfitted with soliflore vases for holding fresh flowers or other stemmed beauties. The frame is wrapped in a black and purple porphyry-inspired, hand-painted paper with metallic gold accents. The mirror itself is low iron. The back of the mirror has two D-rings for hanging.

Thomas Engelhart

Thomas Engelhart (American, 1972–) is an artist living and working in New York City. His boxes and objects are explorations of color, pattern and form. The papers are hand painted in studio before being applied to the hand constructed boxes. Each piece is truly unique.
