Pair of George III Green-Painted Decoupaged Vases mounted as Lamps
Circa 1760
Each wood vase of baluster form, painted a deep green and decoupaged with deep red and gilt butterflies and flower blossoms including chrysanthemums, daisies, and peonies evocative of a printed chintz. Mounted at a later date on a turned giltwood base and fitted with a bulb socket.
