Pair of George III Painted and Parcel Gilt Mirrors

Of elegant architectural design and finely articulated ornament. The divided rectangular mirror plates set between gilt cluster columns, and surmounted by an ivory-painted frieze with gilt ribbon-tied swags between two oval flowerheads below a spherule-mounted and stiff-leaf embellished pediment.
